Final round of one under par sees Padraig finish at five under par for the tournament and just outside the top thirty. He recorded four birdies on the day but a couple of dropped shots late on took some shine off the day. All in all, a good solid tournament, with sixteen under par the winning score! He now has some time off after four weeks on the road!

Third round of one under par sees Padraig inside the top 40 going into Sundays final round. His four under par total trails the leader by ten shots. He got off to a nice start with a couple of early birdies but a dropped shot at the par three 8th hole had him out in one under par. He again dipped under par at the par five 10th hole but had two dropped shots coming home, including one at the par five 18th where he had a penalty when he found water off his second shot. All to play for Sunday!

Padraig has made the weekend at Qatar with a solid second round of two under par 70. His three under par total is currently one shot inside the cut line for the weekend. It was more of an adventurous round with four bogies and six birdies recorded on the day. He had got to two under par after a quick start, but gave those shots back with a poor run of three dropped shots in four holes. He rallied well with four birdies in his next seven holes before a final dropped shot on the par three 8th hole. A nice way to spend your weekend in Qatar on your 500th appearance!

Padraig starts well on his 500th appearance on the DP World Tour with a pleasing round of one under par 71. He was very steady on the day with just two birdies recorded around the turn, both on par 5’s and just dropped the one shot at the par four 15th hole, where he found rough off the tee. With an early tee time Friday, he will be hopeful of adding a solid round to progress to the weekend!

Padraig plays this week at the Qatar Masters. It is his 4th event on the DP World Tour to start his 2026 season. It’s also a significant milestone in his career as it’s his 500th event on the DP World Tour, a feat that makes him only the 50th player to achieve this accolade. The course this week is a par 72 that plays to just over 7,500 yards and your defending champion is Haotong Li.
