Final round of four under par 68 sees Padraig finish in a tie for 5th place at the Galleri Classic. He got the early birdie he needed at the second hole, a par five, but stalled then for a few holes before closing out his front nine with two birdies. He again dipped under par at the par five 11th hole but gave that shot back at the par four 12th hole. He again went quiet for a few holes before making a birdie at the par five 18th to sign for his 68. All in all, it was a solid performance. The runaway winner was David Toms!

Padraig fires a one under par round of 71 to be three shots behind the leader going into Sundays final round. It was a strange day where he recorded fifteen pars and just two birdies with his only dropped shot at the par five 18th hole, which will leave a sour taste after a great birdie two on the par three 17th hole. Still plenty to play for but a hot putter will be required Sunday to overtake some big names ahead of him!

Padraig opens his account at the Galleri Classic with a very steady round of five under par 67. This leaves him in a tie for third going into the weekend and only two shots behind the leader. He got off to a poor start with a dropped shot at the first but thereafter it was a stripe show. He immediately hit back with two birdies to be out in one under par and added an eagle at the par five 11th hole to fire up his round. Two more birdies followed in the last four holes to sign for his 67. All to play for at the weekend as he chases his first win in 2023!

Padraig plays this week on the Seniors Tour at the Galleri Classic. It is being played at Mission Hills Country Club, Rancho Mirage, California.

Tee Times –  Padraig plays Friday in the opening round with Miguel Jimenez and Colin Montgomerie at 5.54pm GMT!
