He got off to a good start with a birdie on the par four second hole but dropped shots at the 7th and 8th holes. He again dipped under the card at the par five 9th hole to be out in level par. Seven pars followed before a final dropped shot on the par four 17th hole. He recorded thirteen birdies for the week but too many mistakes held him back!

He got off to a slow start with an early dropped shot but then reeled off five birdies in eight holes around the turn. Two dropped shots on the 16th and 17th holes took the gloss off another wise good day. He has an early start so will be looking to finish on a low score!
